Awards for the Farm Project

We have been awarded a 'highly commended' award for 'open access to farms'. This means we are approved as a centre of excellence in enabling everyone to access our farm.

Web cam

We have set up a web cam in one of our stable blocks so that you can see our livestock. It is currently being tried out so that you can say what you think by emailing enquiries@fairfieldresidential.co.uk

Bee Hives arrive at the farm, part sponsored by The Hale Civic Society, with funding raised by 'The Jabberwocks'. We are now awaiting the arrival of the bees! watch this space.

Goodbye to James

James is a familiar face at our Farm. He will be taking a break for a while so we said a fond farewell for now, here are some of the comments from our staff:

“I really enjoyed my time with James, I never knew you could eat so many of the plants that grew on the farm”.
“James has taught me a lot about the things that grow on the farm, I sound really knowledgeable when I talk to others about it now, going to really miss seeing him around”.
“I really enjoyed working with James, he always came in with a smile and really funky hairstyles”.

As you can see from the above he was very well liked and will be missed. Here is a picture of James hard at work at the Farm.
